After many years' working on Long Beach, Jeng saw the oportunity to start up Matahari Divers. Born and bred on Perhentian Kecil, he loves the sea and is already an experienced skin diver. Jeng's now progressing with his PADI courses!
Tash has worked in the Perhentian Islands since 2003 so she knows a thing or two about the diving here. It's easy to spot Tash under the water... just look for her bright pink fins!
Also an island lad, Maz has been diving since 1996 so you'll feel super safe under his supervision. He also knows the sites like the back of his hand, so can take you to places that others won't find!
...and resident marine biologist! Hugo will help you identify those mystery fish you see on a dive. Hugo's a BSAC as well as a PADI instructor.
A Scottish lassie, Claire much prefers the tropical climate here in the Perhentians. Super friendly, she'll make you feel at home straight away. Claire's got an eagle eye, so diving with her you're bound to spot loads of fish.
John's as talented in the water as out. He has a song for every occasion, and will keep you entertained on the boat. By night you may find him practising capoeira, drumming or playing fire!
Born in the fishing village, Henry knows all the best spots around the islands to snorkel. His coustomers always return smiling as he's ace at finding turtles and reef sharks!
You'll usually hear Pipi before you see him... singing at the top of his voice! Equally at home behind the wheel or beneath the waves, Pipi's a fish in the water and hopes to be a Divemaster one day.
From Terengganu, Mee's been working in the Perhentians since 2004. He's keen to dive whenever he can, and has been known to dance at the bottom of the sea!
Ayu's also from the village. She's not too keen on the water but will help you out with anything you need in the shop.
